The “Kuzmich” grape is a new, very early-ripening table hybrid variety bred by V.M. Kalugin. It features large clusters and deep-red berries weighing 15-20 g, with firm flesh and a harmonious flavor, and good frost resistance.
Ripening is very early (95-105 days), allowing for a harvest in mid-summer. The clusters are very large, conical, and loose, weighing 800-1200 g.
The berries are large (15-20 g), oval, and deep red, with firm flesh and a harmonious flavor. The flavor is pleasant and harmonious, with a slight muscat flavor. Frost resistance: Down to -23…-24°C.
Disease resistance: Under study, but timely treatment is recommended.
