Price range: 8,00 € through 18,00 €

“Fuji Minori grapes are early table grapes, ripening between 110-120 days. The variety originated in Japan quite a long time ago, in 1978, and after long trials it was included in the official register of varieties in 1985 and has been grown on an industrial scale ever since. In the post-Soviet area, it has only recently appeared. The bunches are cylindrical, large, dense and grow to a weight of about 500-700 g. The berries are slightly oval, like a ping-pong ball, weighing up to 20 grams, and are dark purple in colour. In Japan, the Fuji Minori variety is cultivated using growth regulators and by hand, with clusters weighing up to 25 grams. The skin is thick, typical of Vitis labrusca varieties, and does not feel in the mouth but is edible and easy to wipe off. In Japan, the rough skin is removed from the berries, a common practice in grape consumption. The flesh is quite dense. The taste is very unusual, moderately acidic with fruity notes. The variety has a sugar content of up to 18 % and an acidity of 7-8 g/l. The use of phytohormones may lead to the disappearance of stone fruit. The disease resistance of the Fuji Minori variety is above average. Higher frost resistance, able to withstand frosts down to -28 °C.
