A new hybrid table grape (V.M. Kalugin). The Bogatyr grape is an early-ripening variety with a growing season of 105-110 days. Harvesting in southern Ukraine is scheduled for August 15-20. The bushes are vigorous, and the vines ripen well. It is considered a very promising large-fruited market grape. Bunches are medium-dense, very large, weighing 850-1400 grams on average. The berries are oval, with a pointed tip, and are black when fully ripe. They are very large, with individual berries reaching 25-30 grams. The flesh is very dense, crisp, juicy, and sweet, with excellent taste and a pleasant, harmonious flavor. The variety exhibits high disease resistance – no signs of disease were observed on the seedling. Frost hardiness and disease resistance are being studied.
