The Borysfen grape is a table grape variety bred by V. M. Kalugin.
It ripens early to mid-season. The first harvest can be made 115-125 days after bud break.
The berries are reddish-purple in color and oval in shape. They reach approximately 50 mm in length and 26 mm in width. Each berry weighs approximately 18-20 grams. Each berry contains two or three small seeds.
One of the main appealing features of the Borysfen grape is its harmonious flavor. It combines sweetness and acidity, making it enjoyable both fresh and for use in various grape-based products.
