“Indian” is a table hybrid grape variety bred by A.V. Burdak. It ripens early, taking 115-120 days to reach full maturity. The clusters are very large and moderately dense, with an average bunch weight of 700-1500 grams. The berries are very large and round, with individual grapes reaching up to 25 grams. The color is slightly greenish in the shade, but in full sun it becomes a rich yellow, although it can also tan. Unripe berries are lobed, like pumpkins, but generally smooth out as they ripen. The flavor is harmonious, with a pleasant floral muscat aroma. The flesh is dense, fleshy, juicy, and crisp when bitten.
