The “Agata” grape is a new, very early-ripening hybrid variety. Selected by V. M. Kalugin. The bush is vigorous, the vine ripens well, and the flowers are bisexual and functional. Pollination is good. The bunch is large, medium-density, cylindrical, weighing 850-1500 grams or larger. The berries are very large, oval-shaped, and average 14-18 grams in weight. The flesh is juicy, dense, and has a pleasant dessert flavor with a high sugar content. The flavor is harmonious, with a slight Muscat aroma. Resistance to major diseases is being studied. Frost resistance to -23°C.
