The DAVID grape is a new hybrid variety with an early ripening period (115-125 days).
Selected by V. M. Kalugin.
The bushes are vigorous, yielding high yields, and require mandatory cluster size control. Vine ripening is good. The flowers are bisexual. Pollination is good. The clusters are large, medium-dense, cylindrical, weighing 600-800 grams.
The berries are yellow, weighing 14-16 grams. They have an oval-pointed shape and do not crack from excess moisture. The flesh is very dense, crisp, and fleshy-juicy. High sugar content. The flavor is harmonious, varietal, and very pleasant. Resistance to major grape diseases such as mildew, oidium, and gray mold is being studied.
Frost resistance to -23°C.
