Description
Damask Beauty is a hybrid variety from the private collection of V.M. Kalugin. Its main advantage is its very large plum-shaped berries, weighing 18-25 grams. The flavor is pleasant, without a muscatel note. The flesh is very firm and crisp.
The clusters are large, medium-density, and the berries don’t crush against each other, despite their large size. Additionally, the berries don’t crack after rain. Combined, these two qualities lead to a number of other advantages: the grapes are less attractive to wasps, and the risk of gray mold is reduced.
