Description and main characteristics: Rusalka is a Bulgarian seedling. Shrubs are luxuriant, flower type bisexual. The bunches are conical and cylindrical-conical, often winged, of medium density, with an average weight of 400 g, on vigorous formations weighing up to a kilogram or more. The berries are oval, amber in colour, tanned on the sunny side, weighing between 3 and 6-7 g, depending on the capacity of the bush and the agrotechnique. Besekles Class II-III. The skin is thin, the flesh dense, crisp, with a pleasant, harmonious flavour. Sugar concentration up to 20-22 % at an acidity of 5 g/l. In Bulgaria, the variety ripens at the beginning of August; in the southern regions of Russia, ripening moves to 20-25 August. Among the disadvantages, it is worth mentioning the possible variability of the berries in the clusters, but this is usually not noticeable on the mature bushes. The vine ripens well and cuttings root easily. The Rusalka variety is intended for fresh consumption and for processing into raisins. The bushes need full protection against fungal diseases and shelter for the winter. Yields are high. The variety prefers large structures with a large wood reserve and the commercial qualities of the bunches are very high.
